About
What this is: A free, searchable version of the Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC) Journal Quality List. You can look up any journal’s ABDC rating (A*, A, B or C) by title, ISSN, publisher or Field of Research (FoR) code; filter by rating, inception year and FT50 membership; export results as CSV; see each journal’s rating history across the 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019, 2022 and 2025 editions; and browse which journals were upgraded, downgraded, added or removed between the 2022 and 2025 lists.
Made by AI. “Vibecoded” by Carl Michael Galang.
Motivation: I got tired of looking at an Excel file.
FT50 membership: Labels and filters use the Financial Times list revised in April 2026, cross-checked against SMU Libraries’ journal and ISSN list on 10 September 2026. The same list applies to every ABDC edition; historical FT membership is not tracked. Journals are matched by print or online ISSN, with an exact normalized title fallback. CSV exports include ft50 (Yes/No) and ft50_list_version (2026-04).
